Las Cruces, New Mexico

It was 19 degrees outside this morning!  That's cold!  Had to put a heat lamp under our outside plumbing to keep from freezing - it worked!

It was gloriously sunny and no winds, but we packed up and left Oliver Lee S/P and made a two hour drive south to Las Cruces.  Nothing but sun, but it's cold outside.  Checked into our favorite spot in Las Cruces - Hacienda RV - for a four night stay.  The short drive made for an early arrival and had plenty of time to set up "camp".  Without the wind the sun made the 30 degree air very pleasant.  We actually set up our chairs on the side of the RV in the sun and protected from the wind and caught a few rays.

Record low temperature forecasted for tonight - 11 degrees!  Heat lamp is back out!  The good news is that it is only going to get better from here according to the 10 day forecast.

Still no pictures.  Honestly, we've been this way so many times there is nothing we are excited about sharing.  We are just traveling the interstates and staying in places we've been several times before.  Until we get to warm temperatures we simply will not be doing much in the way of "exploring" new locations.  We do have a few to put on the blog and will do soon.  Hopefully tomorrow.
